This Cookie Notice explains how Kisatietäjä uses cookies and similar technologies on the website.

Our approach

We use only strictly necessary first-party cookies and similar technologies. These are required for the website to function, for users to sign in securely, for the service to remain stable, and for basic security and fraud prevention. General usage is measured with an anonymous, cookie-free visitor counter. For signed-in users, we also record an account-level daily usage count through the existing login session without page paths. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media cookies, profiling cookies, or third-party tracking technologies.

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies and do not store cookies, local storage, or other persistent identifiers for analytics, we do not ask for separate cookie consent for these technologies. If we later introduce any non-essential cookies or persistent analytics identifiers, we will update this notice and, where required, request consent before using them.

We may also use technically necessary local storage, session storage, or comparable browser-side technologies where needed to keep the website working securely. We do not use such technologies for analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling. The anonymous visitor counter uses only a random page-session identifier kept in browser memory, which disappears when the page reloads or the tab is closed.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, because the cookies used on Kisatietäjä are necessary for the service to function, blocking them may prevent login, account use, or other core features from working correctly.
